"THINGS WE LIKE" VIDEO PROJECT
This is our first video editing project for the year. The goal is for students to learn to use FinalCut Pro X. The demo of "Things We Like" was edited by Sean Hart and our students used the same audio and video files to make their own version of the two minute music video.

Matilda the Musical
February - 2016
Some of us in the Magnet went to see the Broadway touring company perform "Matilda the Musical" in July but "Matilda the Musical" began for us, as a class, on the first day of school. We began learning "When I Grow Up" on the first day and we worked on a musical production of "Matilda" little by little, over a period of about five months, until our seven performances in February. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun. Now that it's over, we're really going to miss Matilda and all the characters we've gotten to know.

ROOM 11 - 2016
The Galaxy Song
May - 2016
Our solar system music video project this year was written and edited by Sean Hart for the class of 2015-2016. We learned the song, The Galaxy Song, to perform as a choral piece and Sean came with green screen and camera to help us with the audio and video recording. Every student in Room 11 edited his/her own version of this video in FinalCut X Pro.
